SmartVault built a reputation around its uniquely integrated plug-in for QuickBooks, which offers customers a seamless experience for scanning, uploading, and finding documents within a familiar application. Last year, SmartVault expanded its service offering beyond the QuickBooks user to provide file storage and file sharing capabilities for all business documents. SmartVault continues to enhance its Document Portal to provide users with robust, easy to use document storage and file sharing capabilities. In October 2010, SmartVault announced the availability of its Software Developers Kit (SDK), which opens the door for third-party application developers to easily integrate with SmartVault’s award-winning document management service. Currently, the company is working with several beta development partners with general availability of the SDK planned for release early 2011.
