Multiple award wins position SmartVault as a leader in innovative technology

HOUSTON, TX – December 8, 2010 – SmartVault, a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) document storage and sharing solutions, today announced that it was honored with a Readers’ Choice Award from The CPA Technology Advisor. Recognized with the accolade in 2009, 2010, and 2011 the three-peat win is a significant achievement for SmartVault and cements the company’s place among the profession’s technology leaders.

The Readers’ Choice Award offers users the opportunity to help shine a spotlight on the technologies, services, and vendors they use and trust. Those recognized lead the way in innovation—providing technology solutions to the profession that support streamlined processes and boost efficiencies to unprecedented levels.

“We couldn’t be more excited and honored about the win,” stated SmartVault founder and CEO, Eric Pulaski. “We are dedicated to consistently enhancing SmartVault by expanding functionality to meet the needs of our customers and will continue to deliver SmartVault integration with more and more popular applications in 2011. Winning three consecutive awards is evidence of our commitment to product excellence.”

SmartVault built a reputation around its uniquely integrated plug-in for QuickBooks, which offers customers a seamless experience for scanning, uploading, and finding documents within a familiar application. Last year, SmartVault expanded its service offering beyond the QuickBooks user to provide file storage and file sharing capabilities for all business documents. SmartVault continues to enhance its Document Portal to provide users with robust, easy to use document storage and file sharing capabilities. In October 2010, SmartVault announced the availability of its Software Developers Kit (SDK), which opens the door for third-party application developers to easily integrate with SmartVault’s award-winning document management service. Currently, the company is working with several beta development partners with general availability of the SDK planned for release early 2011.
