SmartVault Document Management Solution Developed for QuickBooks® Users Receives Highest Honor from Intuit Developer Network

Houston, TX – October 30, 2008 – SmartVault Corporation, the first web-based solution to enable QuickBooks users to securely store and share documents, today announced that Intuit has awarded Gold Developer status to SmartVault, designed specifically for use with QuickBooks. This is the highest certification level that can be reached by applications integrating with QuickBooks, and an important milestone for SmartVault, a relatively new player in the document management market, having launched its service in May of this year.

To achieve Gold Developer certification, SmartVault underwent rigorous testing by an independent testing company chosen by Intuit to execute the QuickBooks technical review. The extensive testing on the product ensured that SmartVault’s solution meets a set of Intuit compliance standards, proving the product is of high quality and that it seamlessly integrates with QuickBooks.

Along with passing the technical review, every gold developer is required to submit a case study and receive a passing score on an independent survey given to existing customers. SmartVault’s customer case study highlights the remarkable benefits that SmartVault offers to small-businesses looking to streamline document management and go paperless. SmartVault also achieved high marks in all areas of the customer satisfaction survey, including ease of use and reliability, technical support and overall quality, as well as customer willingness to recommend the product. “This Gold Developer status is a testament to the unique value SmartVault delivers to QuickBooks users,” said SmartVault’s CEO Eric Pulaski. “Our unique toolbar integrates with QuickBooks and really takes ‘ease-of-use’ to a whole new level, enabling the small and medium sized business owner to enjoy the benefits of a paperless office within minutes, allowing them to spend more time actually running their business.”

Designed for use with QuickBooks, SmartVault provides users of all levels with a simple and intuitive solution for moving towards a paperless environment. Simply scan and attach documents directly to QuickBooks entries for easy reference.

Ellen Krantz, a small business owner in Houston, uses SmartVault to streamline accounting, record keeping and cost reduction. Before she started using SmartVault, she was overwhelmed by her unorganized filing system – piles of paper stored in boxes. Now, with the ability to attach backup documents to bills, invoices, bank accounts, and other entries in QuickBooks, Ellen has a paperless office and an easy way to access and share files over the internet.

“I started working with SmartVault, and it was amazing what a difference it made in my quality of life,” said Krantz. “The fact that it’s so well integrated with QuickBooks is really the best part, because I can go in, enter my bills, scan in a copy of the bill, and trash it!”

Unlike products that store your data on a local hard disk or server, SmartVault stores your data in a secure, disaster-proof facility, ensuring that your documents and QuickBooks company files are protected and available anytime, anywhere, over the Internet, and can be shared securely online with business and accounting partners.
