Given the speed of business and life these days, it seems there is never an “ideal” time to stop and make a plan for comprehensively optimizing your tax practice. So here’s my conclusion: The “best” time to improve the efficiency, productivity and overall health of your practice is now. Not next week, not “when things slow down” because if we’re honest, they likely never will.
In my own firm, even though we still have extensions to take care of, we’re not waiting to implement the things that will help my staff and me work smarter. In fact, I’m writing my list of must-dos now and sharing them with you.
