SmartVault Announces Availability of Software Developer Kit
Company sets its site on becoming the preferred platform for integrating document management and file sharing capabilities into today’s most widely used applications
LOS ANGELES, CA – October 4, 2010 – At the Intuit Solution Provider Summit 2010, SmartVault, a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) document management solutions, today announced the availability of its Software Developer Kit (SDK). The SDK opens the door for third-party application developers to easily integrate with SmartVault’s award-winning document management service. Through its SDK, the company provides developers with tools to seamlessly integrate document management and file sharing capabilities into their applications as well as build new applications on the SmartVault document management platform.
“We predict that integration will be the key trend in 2011 as more and more businesses leverage technology to enhance workflow,” stated SmartVault founder and CEO, Eric Pulaski. “There have been so many powerful products and services designed specifically for the accounting and finance market, but there has been little focus on how to make them all work together. Over the next few years, true innovation will be recognized via technology that melds these applications together to create ‘super solutions.’ Just consider the positive impact on workflow if users had the ability to attach, view, and share documents across leading applications.”
The SDK is provided at no cost and will provide integration with desktop, web, and mobile applications. The kit will include: API’s to enable easy file attach, view, and sharing capabilities; scanner wizards to integrate with TWAIN and ScanSnap scanners at the desktop level; code and use case samples; online documentation; support; and a developer forum.
“We are thrilled to be one of SmartVault’s beta development partners,” said Danny Do Couto, Director – Method Solution Providers, Method Integration. “Our Solution Partners have been very vocal about the need to integrate document management capabilities within the Method application, and with SmartVault’s reputation in the industry, we are convinced that we can deliver a solution that exceeds our customers’ and partners’ expectations.”
SmartVault’s SDK is currently in beta, and the company is working with a limited number of development partners. If you are interested in learning more, contact email@example.com. General availability of the SmartVault SDK is planned for Q1 2011.
