June 2012 SmartVault Service Update (12.106.114.1040)

The June 2012 SmartVault service update (12.106.114.1040) includes the following updates:

SmartVault Client Portal

This service update includes the following updates to the SmartVault Client portal:

  • Addresses an issue with the Activity Log where the error message Error: Activity log - Operation is not valid due to current state of object displayed when you tried to open the Activity Log for an item, such as a folder, that contained no events. This issue has now been addressed, and the error message no longer displays.
  • Adds an additional warning that displays when using the Share & Manage Access option with the Apply changes to This folder and make all subfolder access settings exactly like these settings setting. Now when you select the This folder and make all subfolder access settings exactly like these settings, an additional caution message displays that asks you to confirm that you want to apply the changes to all subfolders.

SmartVault Desktop Software

This service update includes the following update to the SmartVault Desktop software:

  • Addresses an issue with Note file names. Previously, each Note created using the SmartVault Toolbar did not have an easily distinguishable file name. Now when a Note is created, it is auto-named when it is pending, first created, or changed. In addition, when a Note is changed between Normal and Urgent, the Note file name is automatically updated to reflect the status.
  • Addresses an issue where, when the %TEMP% directory contains a space, the scanner would not scan and a The scan control input file was not found error message displayed. This issue has been addressed, and the scanner now scans even if the %TEMP% directory contains a space.

SmartVault Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook

This service update does not include any updates to the SmartVault Plug-in for Microsoft Outlook.

SmartVault Web SDK
