A typical accountant exchanges hundreds, possibly thousands, of documents with their clients over the course of a year. These documents contain sensitive personal and financial information, and travel through computer networks and systems with varying degrees of security.
In a single day, any one of those documents might be accessed from a number of locations – from home, at the office, over Starbucks WiFi, even on an airplane. The question is – is your data protected at every point of interaction?
In this webinar, SmartVault security experts will help you establish what security professionals call a “security mindset.” We’ll address security risks facing accounting document management and workflow, as well as common security pitfalls and best practices. We’ll also review several procedures and practices that SmartVault employs to secure customer documents in transit and at rest. Finally, we’ll give you the tools you need to explain the basics of document security to your clients, to bolster your role as trusted adviser to your clients.
